Since the beginning of 2022, artistes have come together to put Rwandan music to greater heights by releasing hits that are now taking over not only in Rwanda, but the whole continent.

Every week, we will be highlighting the top releases.

Here's our round-up of the best tracks and music videos released in the past few weeks that one can listen to during this weekend.

Nyoola, Bruce Melodie ft. Eddy Kenzo

As a top artiste in the country, Bruce Melodie alongside Eddy Kenzo decided to bless music lovers with a surprise release that has taken over online streaming platforms and airwaves.

Produced by Made Beats, Nyoola is a Zouk-Ballad mix with an urban afro vibe, which makes it unique among other releases of this month.

Ready, Bwiza

Last week, one of the most trending upcoming female artiste, Bwiza, blessed Rwanda’s music scene with a banger that talks about the love life of Kigali.

In this tune, Bwiza and Santana, audio producer of the song, introduced a new vibe with the use of Electronic guitar, heavy kicks, and smooth melodies that make everyone listening to want to dance.

Ready is now among the most played and trending songs in Kigali at the moment.

 Tik Tak, Mbanda

The release of a banger like Tik Tak is not a surprise due to how the young boy always delivers hits.

Calvin Mbanda’s second single, Tik Tak, which premiered early this month is another proof that the boy could raise the Rwandan flag high through his music.

Tik Tak is produced in the new wave of Afrobeat which allows it to be played in different areas including clubs, Gyms, Barbershops, pubs and other places.

Element and Bob Pro are the brains behind this addictive tune which is heading others on the trend.

Amashimwe, Chris Eazy ft. Fireman

The appearance of two big names on this track is what makes it a big deal. Chris Eazy has blessed Rwandans with a number of hits like Amashu, Fasta, and this is just an addition to his list of bangers.

The song which praises God also features Fireman, one of the best rappers in Kigali whose flows and bars happen to appear on the best hits in Rwanda.

His flow in 'Bafana Bafana' and 'Muzadukumbura' was a comeback and one can’t deny that the former member of tuff gang is back in style.

Loyal, Juno Kizigenza

 Juno who tags himself as ‘Rutwitsi’ recently shared his ear catching tune titled ‘Loyal’, and since its release the song is still on trend.

Its video which was directed by Eazy Cut has won the attention of many, which is also another reason behind its takeover.

Loyal was produced by Kozze, a young producer who recently joined Country records.

Clout, Ish Kevin ft. Ycee

As the drill genre continues to take over in Rwanda, young boys and girls are using this genre to breakthrough and get on top.

Recently, Ish Kevin and one of the best Rappers in Africa, Ycee, blessed music lovers with ‘Clout’ a Banger making headlines in the region.

This tune describes how many are chasing clout (fame) over everything. In its hook, Ish Kevin says, "Clout is killing my people”, explaining how many do illegal things to get fame.

‘Clout’ is produced in the genre of UK drill by Baeley99beats.

Bitwayiki, DJ Pyfo ft. Kriss Espoir     

 After blessing music lovers with ‘Kantona’, Pyfo is back with a new release which is driving parties in Kigali. ‘Butwayiki’ is classically good with smooth melodies and chords that makes it unique. It is a mix of Amapiano and Afrobeat
