RENOWNED TRADITIONAL SINGER, Ibrahim Cyusa, alongside DJ Princess Flor, will perform live in Belgium next week, May 7.

Cyusa, who is among the best traditional musicians in Rwanda confirmed the development on Tuesday in an interview with The New Times, noting that it’s his first mega show outside the region.

He has been in Belgium since April 21, for different reasons including shooting videos of his upcoming album, visiting his girlfriend, Jeanine Noach, as well as performing in different areas of Europe.

Talking to this publication, Cyusa said that taking his sound to Europe is a win for not only him, but the whole Rwandan traditional music scene in general.

"This show is among many others that I am planning to do in Europe. The Rwandan diaspora in Belgium has love for our music and it is time to party with them,” he said.

"Everyone in Belgium is welcome to come and turn up with Cyusa. We are raising the Rwandan flag,” he added.
