I want to thank Betsy King for the contribution towards the development of golf in Rwanda.

The American professional lady golfer who arrived in Rwanda last Saturday conducted a three-day golf development course at Kigali Golf Club for both junior and senior golfers.

At the end of the clinic, she donated golfing equipment to the club to help out in the game’s development.

For those who don’t know Betsy King, she is a legendary ladies’ golfer in the LPGA tour who took the world by storm in 1984, 1989 and 1993 when she became the leading money winner.

On top of that, she also finished in the top ten on the money list from 1984 to 1995 and again in 1997.
She won 34 titles on the tour including six major championships.
