The league derby between arch rivals Rayon Sports and APR FC will be moved to a later date as the latter prepares for the crunch CAF Champions League clash against Pyramids, Times Sport has learnt.
The match was initially scheduled for September 14 but Times Sport has established that the league body has agreed to postpone it to allow the military side to concentrate on their second round match.
APR FC will face Egyptian side Pyramids FC in the second round of the Champions League in what will be a rematch of last season when they Egyptian won the two-legged battle 6-1 to qualify for the group stages.
As the pair resume their rivalry, APR will be seeking revenge this time round and, as a result, they will need time to prepare for the match.
The Lions advances to the next stage after defeating Azam FC 2-1 on aggregate in the preliminary round.
The first leg will take place in Kigali on September 13 before Pyramids welcome the Rwandan champions in the return leg on September 20 in Egypt.
