Rayon Sports head coach Roberto Oliveira Gonçalves do Carmo, affectionately called Robertinho, felt unimpressed by his side's slow start to the Rwanda Premier League campaign after Friday's 2-2 draw against Amagaju FC at Kigali Pele Stadium.

The visitors came from behind twice as defender Saidi Iragire&039;s 94th minute equalizer earned them a point in the pulsating but bitter draw.

Robertinho mentioned that his side did not play to his expectations so far this season although it is early days to judge their performance, and he believes they can get things right in subsequent games.

"There’s a lot of things to do. I am down because the result was against us. But football is not an exact science. We need to be positive because we did not lose," Robertinho told the press in a post-match interview.

"We have been here for only 20 days. There’s a lot of positive points. We conceded two similar goals. We need to fix it. It’s only the beginning, Rayon Sports have a good team."

On the future of the team, the veteran Brazilian coach mentioned that he is convinced the team will get to the apex of their game.

"I’m so positive that we will improve. We have respect for Rayon Sports fans. In football, you must be optimistic. We have 15 days to prepare the next game. When we scored the second goal the fans were very happy, we need time," he said.

Rayon FC have 2 points from two games after drawing their first game 0-0 with Marines FC. They will face APR in week 3 of the league after the international break.
