AFTER over two years without performing live, Mani martin, one of Rwanda’s best musicians, is back on stage.

The ‘My Destiny’ hit-maker is set to entertain fans in Kigali at L’Espace this Thursday, March 31, alongside Kaya Byinshii, a fast-rising female artiste.

This comes after the renowned afro-beat singer released an EP dubbed ‘Tunez of The People’ with songs that are getting the attention and admiration of many music lovers.

Talking to this publication, Mani Martin confirmed his return in the industry noting that the past two years were challenging with different hardships that affected his mental health.

"It’s been such a long time without performing live for my fans and this event will be a great musical evening to play some of my new projects with Kaya Byinshii,” he says.

"This is something I missed most. To my fans, I am back and ready to stay,” he adds.

Before the pandemic, Mani Martin with his famous Kesho Band, had successfully curved a niche as one of the best contemporary live acts on the local music scene, with his signature afro-fusion style, thanks to songs like ‘My Destiny’, ‘Umumararungu’, ‘Akagezi ka Mushoroza’ and many others that made it to big festivals in Africa like Amani.
