Rwanda Vs Great Britain 8pm
As Rwanda Women prepare to face Great Britain in their last Group D encounter on Thursday night at BK Arena, head coach Cheikh Sarr has said that his side will maintain its fighting spirit and confidence.
Rwanda has not lost a single game in the ongoing 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup pre-qualifiers, having both of their first two games – against Lebanon and Argentina.
The hosts on Wednesday night booked their ticket to the semi-finals after handing giants Argentina a 58-38 humbling defeat.

"The personnel we have, the fighting spirit we have and the defence we are doing, no matter who is facing us, we are going to play our basketball. We don’t play based on who is in front of us, we respect all teams but we respect ourselves more,” Sarr said after victory against Argentina.
A win against Great Britain will guarantee them a top spot in Group D while losing by a point difference between 14 and 33 points would see them finish second but only if Argentina beat Lebanon.
