Rwandan top tier side Etincelles FC have appealed to Rubavu District to commit increased support to the club’s budget for the 2024/25 season.

Club vice-president Singirankabo Rwezambuga hinted that the amount that the district currently allocates in the club is far less than their expenses and they need a top up for them to run the club well.

" I would not announce the budget but we are still discussing with district. They promised to give us Rwf120 million yet the team needs Rwf 350 million this season," Singirankabo told the press.

Etincelles are currently facing FIFA transfer ban which restrict the club from signing any player, foreign or local, until they clear their arrears in the excess of $7000 owed to their former player Prince Jerome.
