The Consumers Choice Awards organised by Karisimbi Events took place in Marriot Hotel, Kigali at a gala night on February 27.
Emmanuel Mugisha, the CEO of Karisimbi Event welcomed the guests with opening remarks in which he expressed gratitude to all companies and individuals who supported the event.
"I am so glad and happy that this happened because it took a lot of energy and time to organise and we promise our best in the near future,” Mugisha said, outlining upcoming events such as the Rwanda Worship Leaders Gala Night slated for April, Kigali International Multicultural Festival that will take place during the CHOGM week and the Service Excellence Awards, which usually happen in October during the customer service week.
RURA representative started by handing out the Special Recognition awards. Prior to that, Mugisha said, "For this special category, they had no need to compete. We did our research and decided to acknowledge their job of bringing positive changes in the society.”
