As hosts Rwanda and Argentina claimed victories in the tournament's opening matches, Chriss Eazy, under the Giti Entertainment Music Label, delivered a high-energy halftime performance. Rwanda secured a win against Lebanon with a score of 80-62.

FIBA Africa President Anibal Manave, Rwanda&039;s new Minister of Sports Richard Nyirishema, and FERWABA President Désiré Mugwiza were among the guests attending the event.

During his 10-minute set, Chriss Eazy energized the crowd with some of his biggest hits, including "Bana," "Jugumila," and his latest track, "Sekoma."

Chriss Eazy, no stranger to the basketball scene, continued his streak of electrifying performances. The Rwandan music sensation has been a regular at the BAL playoffs, while Inganzo Ngari and Ishami Talent have become synonymous with major sports events in Kigali.

Throughout the game, Deejay June of Hottempah Collective and female DJ Ira kept the energy high with their stellar mixes.

This tournament marks the Rwandan women’s national basketball team’s debut on the world stage as they compete in the pre-qualifying tournament. Eight countries are vying in Groups C and D, all aiming to secure a spot in the World Cup’s main event in March 2026.
