Disc jockey Michael Ndungu aka DJ Fully Focus, who is taking the music scene by storm with his skills on the turntable, is set to perform in Kigali on Sunday, February 6.
The Kenyan born DJ will be in Kigali to headline the first edition of 'Intore Sundays', an annual event which will be held every first week of the month at Sunday Park, organisers confirmed to The New Times in an exclusive interview on Tuesday.
Despite headlining mega festivals like Afro Dance of Amsterdam, Fully Focus is also one of the DJs that thrilled Kigalians in 2012 during the biggest New Year’s party, Happy People.
Bruce Intore, the organiser of the event told this publication that Intore Sunday’s target is to create a partying environment which allows people to party day and night with some of the best DJs globally who mix different genres of music.
He said that another development is to allow foodies attending the event to bring their favourite dishes and drinks.
"What we really want to achieve with this concept is a day and night party where people get enough time to enjoy good music and connect.”
"Our target is to bring top DJs from all over the world. Sunday Park is a very beautiful space to relax and enjoy nature. Let’s all come early and party together,” he added.
The event will also feature some big deejays in Kigali at the moment like ‘Kantona’ hit maker Pyfo, the famous Coco Bean club disc jockey, Toxxyk, DJ and producer Klein, and DJ Lou.
Tickets for the event are available at Rwf20, 000 non consumable, and revellers are requested to show up with their vaccination certificates and negative covid-19 test results.
