Police FC are expected to complete the signing of experienced defender Abouba Sibomana before the January 2022 transfer window ends.

Times Sport understands that talks between the 32-year-old left-back and Police have reached an advanced stage and he will append his signature to a six-month deal in the next few days.

Sibomana previously featured for Rayon Sports, APR, Gor Mahia as well as FC Wazito and he is regarded as one of Rwanda's best defenders.

He will be tasked to solve the problem at the left rear of coach Frank Nuttall's side since they have conceded lots of goals from there this campaign.

Police FC are currently fourth on the table with 23 points from fourteen games.
