ARTISTES are preparing for the year by entertaining music lovers by releasing songs albums, Extended Plays.  B Threy is no exception as he recently released his mixtape, ‘Muheto Wa Mbere’.

"All I want people to know about my mixtape is that it contains my usual music vibes and I included my close friends in this music industry. I am working on ‘King Muheto’ and you will get to see some more about such. Stay in touch because Muheto is also my name which means a lot to me,” said B Threy, real name Bertrand Muheto.

"I decided to do this mixtape because I felt like it was the only new way I could communicate with my fans in a very big project. They don’t like single tracks, it is too little for them I guess. After my EP since I became an independent artiste, I am on a very good journey and I won’t disappoint them.”

The singer further explained the images on the cover of the mixtape. They portray him as a kid when he was still young, when he was in secondary school, while he was in street and as an artiste.

This 10-song mixtape took about half a year to complete and share to all platforms. He revealed that he didn’t face so many challenges, except some sacrifices he had to make so he can spend enough time in the studio to make the bangers. Another challenge was to decide on only ten songs to give out on the mixtape while he has so many others.

 "The only motivation we get is the love of our fans. Without their support, we couldn’t do anything. We appreciate your support and we are kindly requesting you to support us by purchasing our artworks/music via all the mega music selling platforms, streaming them, listening to them, and letting your peers do the same as well. We are in the digital world and technology made it easy for us all,” he said.

B Threy is happy that so many people are enjoying the fact that he, Bushali, and Slum Drip have a song together on this mixtape and another one of B Threy and Bushali which shows the reconciliation between them after some misunderstanding between.

When asked about how he thinks the KinyaTrap Genre is he replied, "We are so proud of the KinyaTrap Genre. It managed to give birth and got some branches and give amazing fruits like Trapish and others. That is all the inspiration from KinyaTrap. That is so nice and we are not looking back.”
