Players of Inzozi Lotto now have a chance to win more money as jackpot, after the gaming firm increased twofold its jackpot to Rwf2m up from one million.

The jackpot has been increased after there were no winners in Sunday night's jackpot draw. If a winner is drawn on Sunday, they will take home 2 million in cash.

Thierry Nshuti, the Deputy Managing Director of Carousel Ltd which owns Inzozi Lotto said; "We encourage people to try their luck by playing as much as they can and stand a chance to win a life changing prize of Rwf2 million.”

He added that generally, "the more you play Jackpot Lotto, the higher the jackpot lotto climbs, which will make an impact to the winner and also to the sports community in Rwanda.” 

In Jackpot Lotto, tickets cost Rwf500 and each ticket has six numbers. Players can either pick out the numbers themselves or have the system generate random numbers for them. To play Inzozi Jackpot Lotto, you need to pick six numbers (from 1 to 49) to make a line on your ticket. 

At each live Lotto draw six winning Lotto numbers plus a bonus number are drawn.

There are seven prize categories. 

Category 1 is the TOP prize. To win category 1 you need to match all six winning Lotto numbers.

Category 2 is the 1st prize. To win in category 2 you need to match 5 numbers plus the bonus.

Category 3 is the 2nd prize. To win in category 3 you need to match 5 numbers only.

Category 4 is the 3rd prize. To win in category 4 you need to match 4 numbers and a bonus number.

Category 5 is the 4th prize. To win in category 5 you need to match 4 numbers only.

Category 6 is the 5th prize. To win in Category 6 you need to match 3 numbers and a bonus number.

Category 7 is the 6th prize. To win in category 7 you need to match 3 numbers only. 

Sunday's drawing will take place at 7p.m and will be broadcast live on Rwanda National Television as well as Inzozi Lotto, Kigali Today and The New Times YouTube channels.

Inzozi Lotto was launched in Mid-December with the main purpose to raise funds for developing sports talent in Rwanda. This will be executed in close partnership with the Ministry of Sports and Culture and the national sports federations.
