Internet Service Provider, Mango Telecom Rwanda, has entered into a new partnership with Infinix Rwanda, a mobile phone company, to provide 4G internet to people who buy phones from the latter.

The partnership was launched on Wednesday, December 29 in the presence of the brand ambassadors of both companies— Bonny Bugingo (Junior Giti) — a popular dubbing artist who represented Mango 4G and Semana Ishimwe Kevin (Ish Kevin), a Rwandan Hip-Hop artist who represented Infinix Rwanda.

Under the one-year agreement, all buyers of a brand new Infinix phone will get a one-month 10 GB free internet from Mango 4G.

Eric Niyomugabo, the Mango Telecom Representative in Rwanda said that the partnership is his company’s support to Rwanda’s vision to digitise service delivery.

"All Rwandan service providers are embracing digital solutions. So, we are also working with mobile phone users to increase internet access and affordability,” he stated.

Ivan Rugomboka, who was representing Infinix Rwanda lauded the partnership which he said is benefiting both sides.

"The partnership will benefit us as well as Mango 4G because it aims at improving the services we deliver and scaling up the development of our clients,” he said.

Mango Telecom has expanded its footprints in Rwanda with 35 branches countrywide. The expansion allows the company to smoothen customer service.

Among other products, the company provides wireless monitoring cameras that can be connected to your smartphone, a feature phone that receives and shares 4G signals as well as mobile and wired routers.
