A group of APR FC supporters heading to Tanzania for their team’s CAF Champions League match got involved in a minor road accident on the night of Wednesday, August 14.

A group of APR FC supporters heading to Tanzania for their team’s CAF Champions League match got involved in a minor road accident on the night of Wednesday, August 14, near Nyagasambu, in Rwamagana District.

The fans were on their way to Dar es Salaam to cheer for APR FC in their upcoming match against Azam FC, scheduled for Sunday, August 18.

Five passengers sustained minor injuries in the accident and were taken to Kanombe Hospital where they received treatment.

The remaining fans continued their journey, although they had to switch vehicles twice due to mechanical issues.

APR FC is scheduled to face Azam FC in the first leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round on Sunday, August 18, at 5:00 PM. The team will depart from Kigali on Friday, August 16.
