In preparation for the upcoming playoffs of the Rwanda Basketball League (RBL), Patriots Basketball Club has added to its ranks Stephaun Branch, an American- shooting guard.

The 28-year-old is an experienced player who has featured for clubs in various countries including Mexico, Romania, Belgium, Israel, Uruguay and his native USA.

Branch has previously been described by American media as a guard who can shoot a three and drive to the basket as well as grab rebounds, in addition to logging steals and blocks.

He is six foot five (1.96m).

At Patriots BBC, is going to play alongside Will Perry, another American guard who has already lit up the league with his deft and committed style of play.

The regular season of the RBL is winding up as a number of clubs have already played all their games, while some remain with one or two.

Currently, Patriots is in second place with 30 points, three points behind APR who are leading the league with 33 points.
