King Mswati III of the Kingdom of Eswatini on August 10, began his official visit to Rwanda.
The monarch and his queen, Inkhosikati Make LaMashwama, were among the dignitaries who attended President Kagame’s inauguration at Amahoro stadium on Sunday, August 11, in a colorful ceremony attended by more than 20 Heads of State and Government from Africa
On Tuesday, August 13, President Kagame and First Lady Jeannette Kagame received King Mswati III and Inkhosikati Make LaMashwama at Urugwiro Village for an official welcome ceremony.
The King also held a tête-à-tête with President Kagame and also witnessed the signing of four Memoranda of Understanding, on Defence, Police Cooperation, Correction Service and Visa Exemption for holders of Diplomatic and Service Passports.
During his visit, King Mswati III took part in several activities including, a guided tour of Africa Improved Foods at the Kigali Special Economic Zone, a visit at Carnegie Mellon University Africa, a visit at Irembo, a digital services company that facilitates access to different government services.
