ETINCELLES will be looking to revitalize their poor start in the league by defeating APR in the national football league when the two teams face off on Thursday afternoon at Umuganda Stadium.

The military side who were eliminated in the Confederation Cup have 9 points from their opening three games.

Etincelles coach Abdou Bizimana aka Beken said his team is prepared for the champions despite an inconsistent start to the season.

"We didn’t start the season well and need to keep the foot on the accelerator. We have not been consistent lately, which makes Thursday’s game a must-win for us. My players are physically and mentally well-prepared for the task,” Bizimana noted.

Etincelles are bottom of the table with 2 points while APR is 8th with nine points but have four games in hand.

Kiyovu leads the table with 16 points, one ahead of AS Kigali after nine matches.
