REG Vs Kepler 6pm
Espoir Vs UGB 8:30pm
As Kepler Basketball Club will be fighting to win their final game of the regular season on Tuesday, August 13, they will also be hoping for luck to intervene so that their competitors for a playoffs’ slot don't win their respective games.
With one game left, Kepler is in third place on the league table with 27 points, while REG is fourth with 26 points (and three games left), and Espoir is in sixth place with 25 points and two games to play.
A victory for Kepler against REG tonight will be a good step towards a playoffs’ slot, but the team will be hoping that its two competitors - REG and Espoir slip in at least one of their remaining games.
REG’s remaining games are against Kepler, Espoir, and Patriots, while Espoir’s remaining games are against United Generation (UGB) and REG.
In an earlier interview, the head coach of Kepler Basketball Club Mandy Juruni said his team is feeling good amidst the fight for a playoffs’ slot.

"We feel good about ourselves and the work we have put in. We continue to work to be better. I have told the players to focus on the next game and be better than the previous game,” Juruni told Times Sport.
If Kepler finishes among the top four teams in the regular season, it will have achieved a rare feat, since this is only the team’s debut season in the topflight.
With automatic qualification for the Basketball Africa League (BAL) up for grabs for the champions of the Rwanda Basketball League (RBL), many teams want to fight to make it to the playoffs in order to challenge for the local league trophy.
