Rwandan Small forward Dieudonné Ndizeye will be part of the squad that South Sudanese basketball club Cobra Sports Club will be using in the Basketball Africa League (BAL) qualifier round of 16 that will start on December 6 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The 25-year-old left the country for South Sudan last week and has started training with his teammates.
Speaking to Times Sport on Monday, November 29, Ndizeye confirmed that he has agreed to play for the South Sudanese side.
"I am glad to be part of this team in the qualifiers and I will try to give my best," he said.
Ndizeye features for Patriots in the Rwandan local league.
In 2019, he was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the league.
In the BAL qualifiers, Cobra Sport was drawn in the Eastern Division in Group H2 which is made up of Ferroviario da Beira (Mozambique), Ulinzi Warriors (Kenya) and City Oilers (Uganda).
