Little Chichi was a small street cat. Chichi had no home. He had no friends and he spent all his days walking around the streets. He wished he knew where.

He roamed and hoped that one day he would have a friend who loved him. Nobody seemed to care about poor Chichi who was always out in the cold. When other bigger cats came near him, he ran away because being a stray cat, life was hard.

Sometimes he had nothing to eat; not even the meat thrown out. This made him so sad. Chichi never smiled or liked to play. Chichi frowned most of the time because he was very lonely. He wished his life would turn around.

One day things changed for Chichi. He found a friend!
A beautiful princess picked him up from a lonely street and took him home. She cared for him and held him near.

She warmed his heart with love and joyfulness. She gave him food and kept him warm and made sure he was safe from harm. She allowed Chichi to sleep in an old tiny baby crib that was just next to the fire so that he did not feel cold.

This new friendship Chichi found made him kind and not wild. He was happier and healthy just because the princess took him in.

A little kindness changes things. It brings joy to the lonely people. So next time you meet someone lonely, be kind to them.

Say hallo to them and help them when they need your help. When someone looks sad at least smile and be kind to them.
