Official: AEL Limassol unveil Emmanuel Imanishimwe

Cypriot powerhouse AEL Limassol have unveiled Rwandan international Emmanuel Imanishimwe after signing him from Morocco's AS FAR during the ongoing 2024 summer transfer window.

The 29-year-old left back was officially showcased by the club at the Alphamega Stadium in Limmasol on Monday, August 12 after appending his signature to a two-year deal.

Imanishimwe, a very experienced player, is expected to bring stability to the defence of Limmasol as they hope to finish in the top ranks in the 2024/25 season.

The Rwanda star spent three productive years with Moroccan giants AS FAR Rabat where he was arguably the best left back in the Botola League. He made 93 appearances for the club providing 6 assists.

He previously also played for both Rayon Sports and APR in Rwanda. He is also currently one of the untouchables for the national team, Amavubi.
