Rwanda Premier League side Bugesera FC have signed eight new players ahead of the forthcoming 2024/2025 season slated to begin this month.
The Eastern Province based club has been one of the busiest in this year’s transfer window as they are trying to strengthen their ranks, having narrowly survived relegation last season.

The new players who have signed for the club include Eric Iracyadukunda from Kiyovu Sports, Jean de Dieu Hirwa from Marines FC, Jean Paul Cyiza, and Gérard Ndayogeje from Mukura VS.
The others are Yannick Bizimana from APR FC, goalie MacArthur Arakaza from Etincelles FC, Didier Mfashingabo from Sunrise FC and Didier Junior Mucyo from Rayon Sports.
Bugesera FC will start the league campaign by hosting Amagaju at Bugesera Stadium.

As the 2024 mid-year transfer window nears its close, Rwandan clubs are continuing to be active on the market, both buying and selling players.
With less than three weeks remaining, a lot of business has already happened, yet more is expected.
A number of top players have joined various Rwandan clubs, ranging from Richmond Lamptey, a Ghanaian midfielder who signed for APR from Asante Kotoko, to Abdul Jalilu, a central defender who joined Mukura VS from Ghana’s Dreams FC.
On the other hand, a number of players have left the league for opportunities abroad.
