AS Kigali will hope they can return to winning ways when they take on Police on Saturday evening at Kigali Stadium.

The City of Kigali sponsored side was held to a 2-2 draw by Marines on Wednesday but are still top of the table with 10 points.

"The players don’t need to be reminded of what is at stake. We have prepared well for the game and hope things go according to plan,” Eric Nshimiyimana, the club coach said.

Police sit in seventh place with five points.

His Police counterpart, Francis Nuttall Elliot said, "I am only concentrating on Saturday’s game.”

"For us to be able to maintain our good season and get closer to the top teams, we have to beat AS Kigali and move forward, so we will try to play and win,” he added

In other matches, SC Kiyovu will host Musanze while Rayon Sports will take on Etoile de l’Est.

Action will continue on Sunday with Marines hosting Rutsiro FC at Umuganda Stadium and Espoir FC will play against Etincelles FC.
