APR continued to keep pressure on Atraco at the top of the league table standings after vital win away to Marines at Umuganda stadium yesterday.

Record nine-time league winners won 3-0 courtesy of goals from Kabange Twite, Moses Odhiambo and Jean Mugiraneza.

Defending champions, Atraco also won 2-0 away to Amagaju in Nyamagabe while Rayon Sport was held to a 1-all draw against Electrogaz at Nyamirambo stadium.

Ex-APR strikers got the goals as Jimmy Gatete cancelled out Ahmed Ruzinga early goal.

The win for APR ,put the army on 39 points, one point behind Atraco while Rayon Sport remain third with 36 points.

La Jeunesse lost 2-1 against Police to remain rooted at the foot of the table standing and favourites for relegation.
