After reading about the newly introduced courses in KIST, one of the great institutions in the country, I strongly believe that there is need to introduce some subjects like Agriculture in secondary schools.
Agriculture requires one to be equipped with certain principles and practical skills which must be at least acquired as early as possible.
Agriculture is the back bone of our nation so students should be helped to develop the desire and knowledge of a subject that contributes to our economy.
I feel it would be somehow strange for a student to do agriculture as course in higher institutions of learning when he or she does not have its prior knowledge at his or her finger tips.
I urge the Education ministry and every responsible citizen to look into it. That’s my suggestion!!
