After the conclusion of the basketball league, an All-star game is set to take place on November 20.

The All-Star game brings together star players of the local league, organised in two different teams which play against each other.

The Rwanda Basketball Federation (Ferwaba) first hosted an All-star game in 2013, and did so again in 2019.

The 2021 All-star game will be the third edition of the competition.

In 2019, Patriots skipper Aristide Mugabe and IPRC-Kigali star Guibert Nijimbere were the captains of the two star-studded teams that competed.

Team Guibert Nijimbere were the winners, overcoming Team Aristide Mugabe on 89-83 points.

The players that will take part in this year’s edition are not yet confirmed.

The game will take place at Kigali Arena.

The event will also feature a three-point and slam dunk contest.

In 2019, Dieudonné Ndizeye came out on top in the slam dunk contest after edging Espoir’s duo of Fabrice Rukundo and Thierry Nkundwa.
