Ugandan national team's all-time top-scorer Emmanuel Okwi is set for a return to his former club Kiyovu Sports.

Times Sport can confirm that talks between the Green Baggies and the veteran forward have reached an advanced stage and he is expected to sign a one-year contract next week.

Okwi, 31, featured for Kiyovu Sports during the 2021/22 season and was one of the key players as the club finished second on the league table, just one point behind the champions APR.

The experienced attacker has played various clubs in his native Uganda and abroad in Iraqi, Egypt and other countries.
