JEAN Baptist Hakizimana has blamed bogeys on holes 3 and 6 for his failure to make the cut after day two of the Lucrative Tusker Kenya Open on Friday.

Despite a good come back on the back nine, the MTN-Rwanda sponsored golfer’s final score of 75 was still not enough to incorporate him into the money-group (top 60) of the four-day event which wraps up today.

"I messed up on the front nine and paid dearly for it. But I still think that the experience and exposure from the tournament will come in handy in future,” he told Sunday Sport on phone.
