The 12th edition of the All Women Together Conference, led by Apotre Mignone Kabera under the theme "From Victims to Champions,” concludes this Friday, August 10, at BK Arena. The closing session will feature esteemed faith leaders, including Pastor Jessica Kayanja, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, Dr. Ipyana Kibona, and Egbu Osinachi Joseph. Doors open at 3 PM, and entry is free.

Meanwhile, the 25th edition of Africa Haguruka,which began on August 4, wraps up this Sunday, August 11. Throughout the weekend, attendees can delve into topics on Religion, Business, Family, Education, and more.

Hosted by Apostle Paul Gitwaza at the Authentic Word Ministries/Zion Temple Celebration Center in Ngoma, Kicukiro, the event will also feature speakers like Bishop Joseph Matters, Apotre Francis Mbadinga, Apotre Victor Mokgotlhoa, and Apostle Samuel Hayes.

Highlights include engaging discussions such as "The Role of Entertainment and Sports in Advancing God’s Kingdom in Africa," exploring both the negative influence on African youth and the potential to inspire excellence through these platforms. Entry is free.

Strictly Soul Kigali

Strictly Soul, which began as an Instagram livestream, has evolved into Africa’s premier R&B event, and it’s making a much-anticipated return to Kigali. If you&039;re craving soulful vibes, don’t miss this continental music sensation’s third appearance in the city.

It is this Saturday, August 10, at Atelier du Vin, where DJ Akio, DJ Fiston, and NEP DJs will spin unforgettable tunes. Early bird tickets are available for Rwf 12,500, with pre-sale options ranging from Rwf 15,000 to Rwf 20,000, and tickets at the door priced at Rwf 25,000.

Since its launch in October 2020, Strictly Soul has expanded its reach to major African cities like Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Durban, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Gaborone, Windhoek, and now, Kigali.

Rwanda Auto Fest

Missed the Kigali Auto Show in Bugesera last weekend? Don’t worry, Kigali’s version, the Rwanda Auto Fest, is happening this Saturday, August 10, at the CHIC parking lot Downtown.

Get ready to see the finest vehicles and bikes on display in front of a live audience. Tickets are Rwf 15,000 at the door. Entertainment will be headlined by South African "Tswala Bam" hitmakers TiTom and Yuppe, with local DJs Toxxyk, Kevin Klein, Tyga, Pyfo, Kalexx, and Joe the Drummer keeping the energy high.

Komasava Kigali

Music lovers can catch South African star Chley at the Komasava Kigali concert on Friday, August 9, at Kigali Universe. Chley, known for her feature on Diamond Platnumz’s viral hit "Komasava," will perform alongside local talents like DJ Marnaud and DJ Brianne. Tickets are available for Rwf 20,000 at the gate.

Green Park Saturday Chill

Looking for a new music spot with a view? Green Park in Gahanga is hosting a Saturday Chill session on August 10, offering a perfect blend of live music, barbecue, and outdoor games like mini-foot, table tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, and cycling. Ideal for those seeking a relaxed picnic vibe, the event kicks off at noon with DJ Brian setting the mood.

Jamaica Independence Day Celebration

Jamaica’s Independence Day may have been on August 6, but the celebrations continue in Kigali this Friday, August 9, at Everyting Irie Jamaican Restaurant in Birembo, Kinyinya (KG 22 Ave 202).

Festivities kick off at 7 PM and run until 1 AM. Show your spirit by wearing your country’s colors or bringing your flags for a chance to win a staycation for two in Musanze at Frama Twin Lakes. The event also supports a great cause, helping schoolchildren in Rwanda.
