Bugesera FC face litmus test in Musanze
Friday, October 29, 2021

Bugesera FC will face a stern test on Sunday October 31 when they travel to the Ubworoherane Stadium to battle Musanze FC in match day 1 of the 2021/2022 Rwanda premier league.

The game promises to be an exciting one with both teams eager to start the campaign on a good note by amassing three maximum points on the opening day.

Bugesera FC had a brilliant pre-season winning four games and losing just one which was against Rayon FC. Head coach  Abdul Mbarushimana will be hoping that his charges will replicate that form in the league as they have already been tagged as potential title winning team due to their recents output.

Musanze FC on the other hand were not so impressive in the off season outings as they lost a couple of games but new coach Frank Ouna Onyango seems to have corrected the loopholes in his team as the season is set to begin.

On paper, Bugesera FC looks to be the more formidable side and a lot will depend on Ghanaian striker Sadick Sulley if they are to come from Musanze with the three maximum points. The 20-year-old forward who last season played for Espoir banged in four goals in the preseason games and he has been a delight to watch as he has fit into the team so well.

Their newly appointed skipper Jean De Dieu Nsabimana has to organize the back four very well especially as Brian Muhinda and Nemeyina Kato who are all new signings are likely to feature.

Musanze will rely on the efficiency of Ocen Ben, Samson Irokan as well as their home advantage which could play a crucial role in this encounter.

In all, the game promises to be an exciting one with lots of action in the final third of the field but the club which takes its chances will eventually get the three maximum points.
