The local football league returns back in action this afternoon with six fixtures spread out across the country.
The league was called off mid last month to pave way for the Amavubi Stars preparation for the 2010 World/Africa nations Cup qualifier against Algeria.
Record nine-time league winners, APR play away to Marines in Northern Province at Umuganda stadium while league leaders, Atraco are also away to Amagaju in Southern Province.
Third placed Rayon Sport have a tricky tie against an inform Electrogaz side at Nyamirambo stadium.
Elsewhere, AS Kigali host cash-stripped Mukura at Mumena stadium while Police Fc entertain relegation threatened La Jeunesse at Kicukiro artificial turf.
SC Kiyovu play away to Kibuye at Gatwaro stadium in another crucial tie for the old giants in their bid to avoid relegation for their first time in their history.
Atraco lead the league standings with 37 points, one point ahead of APR in second and a further two better than Rayon. La Jeunesse remain bottom with 11 points in 16 matches played.
Atraco’s Jean Lomami is the leading top scorer with 14 goals and followed by team mate Hamis Kitagenda with 10. The Ugandan international joined the national champions last season from Ugandan champions KCC Fc.
Pappy Gasana (AS Kigali) and Ndjoli Bokungu (APR) are joint third with eight goals each.
