Renowned traditional dance group ‘Indangamirwa’ is bringing back the culture night ‘Igitaramo’ at Galaxy Hotel, after almost two years of being suspended.
The show, which was postponed because of covid-19 measures, will resume this Friday, with special guest appearance by Angel and Pamela, a renowned traditional music duo in Kigali.
The cultural event will be taking place every last Friday of the month, starting fromOctober 29, at Galaxy Hotel with all participants requested to present proof of vaccination at least one dose, and applying all the measures that prevent the spread of covid-19.
This show aims at raising traditional music in Rwanda, and giving space to its lovers to connect and have fun together, according to Fred Murwanashyaka, head of Indangamirwa.
"We are delighted to be able to connect with our fans again,” he said.
"I would advise everyone who loves dancing and singing to not miss this show, because it's going down,” he added.
Guests will also be required to part with Rwf10, 000 as entrance fees, with a 20% discount on all drinks at the venue.
The event follows another traditional live show that happens every Friday at Grand Legacy Hotel, a sign that party life is slowly returning in Kigali.
