18-year-old Amapiano sensation Chley to perform live in Kigali

South African star Siphesihle Nkosi, popularly known as Chley, will perform at Kigali Universe on Friday, August 9, following her show in neighboring Uganda.

Chley, who recently gained widespread recognition for her feature on Diamond Platnumz’s viral hit "Komasava," will be performing alongside fellow South African artist Tchibo De Beat.

"Komasava," which includes a remix featuring Jason Derulo, has garnered over 8 million views within just 13 days and made history as the first Tanzanian track to enter the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs Top 50, debuting at number 39.

Kenny Mugarura, Vice President of the music label 1:55 AM and one of the event's organizers, confirmed Chley’s arrival in Kigali on Thursday, August 8. "Chley, the 18-year-old Amapiano hitmaker, will bring an electrifying night to Kigali Universe. With her popularity in the Amapiano genre, we’re anticipating a high-energy event that will resonate with the crowd,” Mugarura said.

The show will begin at 6 PM, with tickets priced at Rwf 10,000 for early birds and Rwf 20,000 at the gate.

Chley, who rose to fame through her collaboration with Diamond Platnumz, will perform alongside local talents DJ Marnaud, DJ Brianne, Kevin Klein, and DJ Inno.

A prominent figure in the Amapiano music scene, Chley has worked with renowned artists and producers like Musa Keys, Mellow & Sleazy, Uncle Waffles, and Diamond Platnumz.
