US-based Rwandan R&B/pop musician The Ben has finally proposed to his girlfriend Pamela Uwicyeza, a former beauty queen.

The singer's fiancé posted a video on Instagram, showing  off her pear cut engagement ring.

Uwicyeza, a former Miss Rwanda contestant, said ‘YES’ to the ‘Naremeye’ hit maker in a colourful proposal held on Sunday, October 17, in Maldives Islands where the two have been spending holidays together for the past week.

The Ben and  Uwicyeza began dating in 2019 and the two have since been posting photos on each of their social media platforms on different occasions accompanying them with romantic captions. 

They however, have been dodging media questions concerning their love affair whenever they were invited for interviews.

The Ben has been under intense pressure from his music supporters about what the future holds for Uwicyeza ever since musician Meddy married his Ethiopian darling Mimi Mehfira back in May.

The couple is finally looking forward to tying the knot. We wish the couple good luck!
