The Rwanda Cycling Federation (FERWACY) has announced that the National Cycling Championship will take place between August 17and 18.
The two days’ race was initially scheduled for June 22 and 23 before FERWACY decided to change the dates.
A number of top local riders are expected to take part in the competition.

Last year’s edition was won by Benediction Club’s Patrick Byukusenge and Diane Ingabire in the men’s and women’s categories respectively.
During this year’s race, riders will compete in various categories including men's, women’s, under-23, and juniors'.
The event will start on Saturday, August 17individual riders’ trials that will be held in Kigali. On the next day, a road race will be held, starting in Nyarugenge, through Gicumbi and ending in Gasabo.
