This week, Cogebanque Plc joined the rest of the world to celebrate this year’s customer service week, under the theme "The power of service with an aim to accentuate the importance of customer service and the crucial role played by the people who serve and support customers on a daily basis.
While Friday marked the last day of the week-long celebration, the bank's management across all the branches nationwide dedicated not only this week to customers and determined to make customers experience the best services each day.
The CEO of Cogebanque Guillaume Ngamije Habarugira says that this whole week was customer-centric to our as we look forward to serving a bigger market, we have our customers on the heart and serving them rightly is in our best interest
He says that "Before getting more customers on board we are dedicated to best serve our regular loyal customers, for they are our spokespersons they give testimony about our good work”
Habarugira concluded that "As we close the customer service week, we thank all our stakeholders for enabling us to provide outstanding banking services, we remind you that we are ready to go the extra mile to ensure your banking needs are meet”
Clients were treated in a special way, senior managers of Cogebanque took on the role of customer service officers, serving customers and receiving direct feedback on issues and finding innovative ways of addressing them.
At the closure of the customer service week, an event was held at the head office branch of Cogebanque, senior managers took the opportunity to share and interact with customers.
The bank management handed over a sports bike to the person who won a token of appreciation as one of the clients who often uses Cogebanque’s digital banking channels, while Joel Kayonga the Commercial Director awarded the staff department that won the customer service week special office decoration prize.
Sharon Uwimana who won the token for using digital banking said that Cogebanque should be the bank of choice for everyone due to its service, especially for their digital banking services.
Quick service delivery has been complicated since the pandemic started but Cogebanque has tried its best in service delivery at all their branches, says Derrick Murwanashayaka, a local businessman.
Fils Igitego who has been working with Cogebanque since 2017 emphasized that good service delivery by the bank.
He adds that "It is heartwarming to see the CEO talking to customers and exchange ideas it is like just like a big star talking to his or her fans this means a lot to the clients especially during a time like this dedicated to customers
The bank's Relations Manager says that as a customer-centred bank, Cogebanque thanks its customers for their continued trust and loyalty and promised to constantly provide excellent service and deliver unrivalled financial solutions.
The bank commenced its operations in 1999 that makes it 22 years old, it being one of the fastest-growing banks in Rwanda Cogebanque has since opened 28 branches with over 600 agents, 36 ATMs across the country.
With the support of mobile banking (USSD on *505# and the mobile App "Coge mBank”), Mastercards and Smart cash, and an internet banking delivery channel accessible through different media.
