Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA) has announced a reduction in the price of gasoline to Rwf1,629 per litre, down from the previous Rwf1,663 per litre, effective Wednesday, August 7, at 7 pm.
The maximum retail price for diesel remains unchanged at Rwf1,652 per litre, the same price as two months ago.

The decrease in the maximum retail price for gasoline amounts to Rwf34 per litre, while there has been no change in the price of diesel.
According to RURA, these latest adjustments reflect recent fluctuations in international petroleum product prices. The agency sets new fuel prices every two months based on global market trends. The next update is expected at the beginning of October.
