The first Rwanda Rw’ejo album, released in 2020, was hailed as one of the best of the year for introducing the drill genre and spotlighting new talents like Ririmba, OG2tone, Kenny K-Shot, and Logan Joe.
While Rwanda Rw’ejo 2 did not achieve the same level of acclaim, it introduced artists such as Shemi and Bobby Bangs. Critics argue that the second album struggled due to its similarities with the first, which they felt limited its impact and focus on new, innovative sounds.
