EMERANCE BWIZA, winner of Kikac music label’s inaugural edition of ‘The Next Diva-Indi Mbuto’ a female opportunity to make it in the male dominated music industry says she is closer to her dream.
"Everything is good. Kikac is doing their best for me and am getting everything I need so that I can develop my career which gives me a hope for tomorrow,” the 22-year-old who is currently signed under Kikac Music Label.
As a student at Mount Kenya student, Bwiza has learnt to manage her career and studies in a way that doesn’t affect her performance in both. She added that she used to think fame came easy until she joined the industry and learned how hard it really is. Nonetheless, she is "enjoying the ride.”
It’s been a week after she released her first song, ‘Available’ which she wrote with the help of Danny Vumbi.
"I am so happy that I get positive feedback, mostly encouraging messages and best wishes with blessings. Special thanks to God and everyone who is encouraging and supporting me,” Bwiza said.
Speaking to this publication, one of Kikac Managers said that working with Bwiza was easier than they imagined.
"At first we thought that she can only sing, but we got surprised to see her other talents like dancing and song writing. She is so good in song writing and soon an all stars song that she wrote is coming out.” said Claude from Kikac Music.
