After a weekend off in respect to the week to remember the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, the national rugby league actions returns this weekend.

The rugby federation suspended the league on April 4.

The Secretary General of the rugby federation, Janvier Ugeziwe confirmed to Times Sport the league return.

Only one game has been played this season between Remera Buffaloes and UNR Grizzlies which the former won 95-0 to put them at the top of the league standing with five points.
