Singer Bruce Melodie is set to entertain music lovers with a live performance at the ongoing Iwacu Muzika Festival 2021, scheduled for today, August 7.
The virtual event will take place at Kigali Arena and, as usual, will be broadcast live on Rwanda Television at 8:45pm.
The Rwandan hit maker's recent performance was at his partnership deal with the Kigali Arena as its brand ambassador for the next three years.
Bruce Melodie told The New Times that he is ready to entertain music lovers and that everyone should be ready to have a good time, like always.
"People should be ready, and their speakers too, because I am ready to give them the best show and I have been rehearsing. It is going to be lit as a concert, not just a show they will be watching on TV. The only difference will be it being virtual. I hope everyone is ready to dance and enjoy every moment of my performance,” Bruce said.
The show comes at a time when he is preparing for a worldwide tour dubbed Kigali World Tour, which is expected to start on December 30 in Dubai. He however said that there have been more concerts added to the tour, which will be announced soon.
"I have many songs that I am working on but I am planning to release a new song in two weeks,” he added.
He will headline the festival, following previous performances by Platini who opened the festival on June 26, RDF Military Band, Mani Martin, Cyusa Ibrahim, Peace Jolis and Naason Solist and Edouce Softman who performed last Saturday.
Iwacu Muzika Festival, which seeks to promote the Rwandan music industry by bringing together different artistes in their age brackets on the same stage, is organised by East African Promoters, in partnership with the ministry of Youth and Culture, Tembera u Rwanda, RBA, among others.
