MUSICIAN BRUCE MELODIE has announced that he will have a world tour, his very first since launching a music career a decade ago.

The tour will see him headline performances at concerts in six countries worldwide namely; Burundi, Kenya, Belgium, France, Canada and the United States.

The music tour is, according to his management, a good timing for the singer whose music is increasingly going global.

"He [Bruce] is going for a music tour because the timing is right,” said Lee Ndayisaba, the CEO of Clouds Entertainment which manages Bruce Melodie.

After announcing his plans for a World music tour, the singer told The New Times that the tour is a big occasion for him to connect with his music supporters world-wide, especially the countries that he plans to tour.

"I have recorded a lot of songs and I believe I have enough package to give my music supporters from different countries that I plan to reach during my tour,” the singer told The New Times.

"There are many people worldwide who love my music but couldn’t see me performing. I think it’s time to connect with them and share with them a performance that they had wished to see for years,” he added.

Bruce Melodie is arguably regarded as Rwanda’s flag bearer in music thanks to a stellar music career that saw him achieve a lot, including big cash partnership deals as brand ambassador for renowned companies like Kigali Arena and beer maker Brok.

His talent took him places and saw him dominate the music industry, winning big awards like Salax and Primus Guma Guma Super Star among others.

According to the singer, the tour will kick off in August as he looks forward to headlining concerts in six countries which could increase depending on his bookings.

"The tour could be extended to 2022 because I need to reach as many music supporters as possible,” he said.
