THE INTERMEDIATE COURT of Gasabo, Monday July 19, found upcoming hip-hop artiste Ish Kevin guilty of drug use and granted him to a one year suspended sentence.

A suspended sentence is a judicial punishment which is not enforced unless a further crime is committed during a specified period.

In an interview with The New Times, Ish Kevin said that he is happy to be back home and ready to deliver the best songs to his fans starting next week.

"I’m very thankful and grateful to be home. This is the right time to release some of the bangers I had recorded, starting with ‘No Cap’ which I had shot before getting arrested and it will be a hit. Trust me” he said.

"If all goes well ‘No Cap’ will be out by next week” added Ish Kevin.

Amakosi hitmaker was arrested on May 25, this year alongside others including Dj Briane over violating covid-19 rules and drug use.

Ish Kevin is a fast rising singer known for songs like ‘Amakosi’, ‘King Kong’, ‘Ibitambo’, among many others.
