Mukura Victory Sports captain Alexis Ngirimana has signed a two-year deal with top tier league newcomers Rutsiro FC.

The experienced centre back is expected to bring the needed stability to Rutsiro FC’s defense as they hope to at least maintain their topflight status in the upcoming 2024/25.

Kiyovu Sports have also completed talks with Burundian midfielder Cedric Amissi over a move to the club.

Times Sport can confirm that Kiyovu will pay the former Rayon Sports star a signing on fee of Rwf 4 million for the one-year deal.

Elsewhere, Bugesera FC are in talks to sign free agents Jean Bosco Akayezu and forward Osee Iyabivuze who are both out contract from AS Kigali. The Nyamata-based club is also holding discussions with centre back Jean Paul Cyiza who was released by Mukura Victory Sports.

Talks are reportedly at an advanced stage and the trio could sign in the coming week.
