Rwandan rapper Siti Karigombe and his counterpart Dushime Amadou, also known as ‘ItadLibra’, on Thursday, dropped a new track and its visuals dubbed ‘Intambwe’, to remind society that achievements should not be reason to cut others off but rather should be shared by friends and families.
Siti True Karigombe last week released an extended play (Ep) dubbed ‘Ndi mu kazi petit’ and his new track he dubbed ’Intro’.
"After my EP, the song ‘Intambwe’ emphasizes on reminding the society that needs to embrace charity and love among one another. I think that working is good, but when some people achieve a lot, they tend to cut off friends and families, which is not a good manner. I believe that when blessings come it’s better to help others as it always come back to you,’’ the rapper says.
In an interview with The New Times, upcoming rapper ItadLibra said that it is a pleasure to have been featured by one of the talented rappers.
"I knew him and loved his songs even before I joined the music industry. Nowadays it is rare to find someone who can offer support, this song is a motivation to me. I hope this will be a fresh start to my journey in music industry,’’ The upcoming rapper said.
When asked why he chose to feature ItadLibra, Karigombe pointed out that he found it interesting to support his talent because he believed that sooner he will be one of the rising local rappers contributing towards Rwandan music generally.
Both artistes are currently working on different projects which they will announce soon, including collaborations with different local artist.
ItadLibra’s first song, ‘Worst era’ featured by Rwandan Hip hop artiste Raccine, and was released on July 9. The rapper is currently a university student in Iran where he is in his third year.
He ventured into music inspired by his love for hip hop music.
