Rwanda international Hakim Sahabo could miss Standard Liege’s opening league clash against Genk at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne on Sunday, July 28.
Sahabo is battling a knee injury and he was has not trained with the rest of the team early this week, casting doubts over his fitness ahead of Genk encounter.

Aside the Rwanda teenager, Nathan Ngoy and Souleyman Doumbia may also not feature for the club due to injuries.
Sahabo, 19, was promoted to the Standard Liege senior team in January 2024. He went on to make 18 senior team appearances before the league ended.
The midfielder has recently been linked with a move to Premier League side Leicester City on in the ongoing Summer transfer window.
