21-year-old E.T, real name Steve Ndahigwa. is a rising hip-hop artiste.

Steve Ndahigwa best known as E.T is 21-year- old upcoming artiste doing Hip Hop style.

He told The New Times that he started his music career officially, in January 2018, when he was celebrating his birthday, although there were more tracks before then, and now boasts of more than 15 tracks that are out, both collabo and solo.

Asked about his breakthrough song, E.T revealed that dubbed ‘Kantona’ by Dj Pyfo, in which he features alongside Kenny K Shot, brought him to the spotlight and introduced fans to his other songs.

Dj Pyfo introduced the project to him after listening to his songs on social media and he accepted the offer immediately. The duo then started working on the song with the producer Danny Beats before Kenny k-shot was asked to join in.

E.T also explained that he chose the path of music because he used to listen to different types of music to a point he was known for his love for music. However, he never thought about doing music as he was just an admirer.

However, after his friend encouraging him to pursue music, he started writing some lyrics in his notebook, in 2015, and upon completing high school he decided to pursue it fully.

Talking about his challenges so far, Ndahigwa said that the challenge was to get a studio, equipment’s and money for production as an upcoming artiste.

He added that the people not understanding him as an artiste was another challenge, with many of them advising him to go on another path, even though he knew what he really wanted to do.

Luckily for him, he says, his parents are fully supportive of his music.

Ndahigwa also recently joined production and hopes to release some of the songs he produces, in the near future.

Talking about his production journey, E.T said that one of his closest friend back in high school used to love production and always push him into it but had never been interested until last year after the death of his best friend.

That was when he started learning production and he hopes to play his part in music production.

Speaking on the next project after ‘Kantona’, he said that there is an Ep that he expects to release not later than August and promised his fans more projects to come.

Ndahigwa went to Ecole International for his nursery and primary education. He then went to IFAK, Kimihurura for Ordinary level before completing his high school at New Vision High School.
