Sir, business at the Katuna boarder post must change if Rwanda must compete in the East African Community market.

I was recently travelling to Kigali and we wasted a lot of time as we waited for the bureaucratic officials at Katuna to do their work.

My TV set of  Frw50,000 was taken out of the bus and I was asked to pay a tax of Frw45000.

As if that was not enough, I waited for five hours for the customs officer to work on me.

And on top of this, the border is opened late.

Something needs to be done about the customs delays.
